India win toss, bat first against Pakistan in Asia Cup

KARACHI (Reuters) - India won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in a super league match at the Asia Cup tournament in the national stadium on Wednesday.
Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik was ruled out of the match with exhaustion, Misbah-ul-Haq will lead the side in his place while off spinner Saeed Ajmal has been brought in alongside pacer Abdul Rauf.
India made four changes recalling Piyush Chawla, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan and Praveen Kumar for Robin Uthappa, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha and Manpreet Gony.

India: Mahindra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Piyush Chawla, Ishant Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar.
Pakistan: Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Salman Butt, Nasir Jamshed, Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir, Rao Iftikhar, Abdur Rauf, Saeed Ajmal.
