Emily broke the deadlock after 22 minutes when the sky-blues' national team marksman took a pass from Ghanaian forward Ibrahim and beat rival keeper Mostafa on one-on-one.The visitors from the port city, however, came back briefly with young striker Mithun Chowdhury getting the equaliser in the 36th minute with a low angled drive.Like the previous match, the Dhaka giants -- playing in their second choice yellow strip -- took absolute control after the break and an unmarked Joy put Abahani on the top with a fine header from six yards on a cross by leftback Wali Faisal on the hour. There was no respite for Chittagong Abahani who failed to mark the rivals attackers and conceded the third goal two minutes later. This time, Emily headed in a corner by Ujjal for his third goal of the competition.Ibrahim had a hand in local Abahani's fourth goal when his centre picked up the shaven-headed Joy, whose diving header gave the opposition goalie no chance six minutes from time.Earlier in the day, Chittagong Mohammedan, who came to the match on the back of a win against their city rivals Abahani, survived last-gasp pressure by Jatrabari in a five-goal thriller.Liberian forward Anthony Doe leapt in the air to nod home a freekick by Dhiman Barua as Mohammedan took the lead after 13 minutes. It was short lived as Victor's headed goal on a corner by Shariful restored parity for Jatrabari eight minutes later.Skipper Daulat then utilised a pass from Lincoln to make it 2-1 on the half hour and Mohammedan sealed the victory in the 56th minute when Towhidul shot home with his left foot after the Jatrabari custodian punched out a cross by Lincoln towards the top of the box.Victor fluffed a one-on-one before Yasin's overhead shot after a solo run reduced the arrears in the 68th minute for Jatrabari, who were kept at bay in the 81st minute by a spectacular save from goalkeeper Mamun Khan who parried Shariful's powerful drive.
